The Times of Refreshing Bible reading guide is the second of four volumes that together form a guide to the whole Bible, seen through the activity and experience of the Holy Spirit. This volume traces the main movements of revival and growth in Biblical history, thus highlighting the principles by which God's kingdom operates and outlining the challenges and vision that inspire all those following the Spirit.

The Old Testament section covers the period between 13th and 6th centuries BC by studying the history books from Joshua - 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah. The New Testament section pursues the story through Matthew's Gospel, Acts, Galatians, Thessalonians and Corinthians, covering the main movements of Kingdom growth and revival in Biblical history, highlighting the principles by which God's Kingdom operates and outlines the challenges and vision that inspire all people of the Spirit.

This reading guide is supported by the Times of Refreshing workbook, which is a six-month course of weekly studies, and a set of 20 minute talks available as downloadable MP3 files.
